Statutes



I. CLUB NAME AND HEADQUARTERS

§1

The club defined by these statutes is called The Andrzej Zaremba Polish Militaria Collectors Association.

§2

The club headquarters is the residence of the club president, and the club's territory covers every location in the world where collectors of Polish militaria reside.

§3

The club is a legal entity having its own insignia, and assets derived from members' dues, gifts, bequests, publications, lectures, and exhibits organized by the club.

§4

Club meetings are conducted in the Polish language.



II. CLUB FUNCTIONS

§1

The purpose of the club is to provide a forum for collectors of Polish militaria outside of Poland whose collections have preserved from destruction artifacts connected with Polish history, and its cultural legacy. A further purpose of the club is to publish a magazine on topics related to Polish military history.



II. MEMBERS, STATUTES, RIGHTS, AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Club members are divided into Regular, Corresponding, and Honorary Members.

§2

A Regular Member is a person nominated by two Regular Members and accepted by a majority vote not earlier than at the third regular club meeting.

§3

A Corresponding Member is a person nominated by two Regular Members and accepted by a majority vote at a club meeting.

§4

An Honorary Member is a person nominated by club members and accepted by 3/4 vote at an Annual Meeting.

Honorary Members are treated on honorary basis, but in agreement with the provisions of this document

The title of Founding Members have those members who signed the club membership declaration on October 26, 1986 at the founding meeting.



IV .CLUB ADMINISTRATION

V. ANNUAL MEETING

§1

Annual Meeting will be scheduled by the club management no later than by March 1 st of every year, or at the request of 1/3 of Regular Members.

Decisions during the Annual Meeting are taken on majority vote. Founding Members have 50% of votes at their disposal.

Club officers are:
All officers are elected by secret ballot for two years.

Decisions of the administration are undertaken by a simple majority of votes.

The Collegiate Court is made of 3 members selected by a secret ballot for two years. The court members elect a chairman among themselves.



VI. CHANGES IN STATUTES AND DISSOLUTION OF THE CLUB

§1

Changes in the statutes may be agreed upon at an Annual Meeting by a simple majority of votes.

§2

The club may be dissolved as the consequence of a decision of taken by 3/4 of the votes of members present at an Annual Meeting.

§3

In the event of dissolution of the club, the Annual Meeting will divide the club holdings among Regular Members on the day of its liquidation.



VII. REGULATION PERTAINING TO THE BADGE OF THE ANDRZEJ ZAREMBA POLISH MILITARIA COLLECTORS ASSOCIATION.

§1

The badge of the Andrzej Zaremba Polish Militaria Collectors Association depicts the czapka of the First Regiment of the Polish Light Horse Lancers of Napoleon's Imperial Guard. The badge is made of silver and is the same for all categories of club members.

§2

The right to wear the badge is reserved only and exclusively for club members.

§3

The badge is worn on a jacket lapel, coat lapel, in the center of the upper pocket of a military-type jacket, and on the flap of the top shirt pocket. The wearing of the badge in any other place is not allowed.

§4

The right to wear the badge is forfeited after losing club membership.

§5

Each badge has a unique number registered with the club.

Each member acquires a badge at his own expense.
